Registration

• Registration must be made via the online registration system.
• Delegates will receive an automatic email confirmation of their registration details. If the confirmation is not received within 48 hours, please contact Bucher Events on booking@buchertravel.ch to ensure that they have received your booking.
• Registration will only be effective on receipt of the registration fee or after authorisation of a credit/debit card payment.
• Registration is binding, and fees are to be paid by the registration deadline (30 April 2019) at the latest.

 

Costs & Fees

• All prices quoted for the congress are calculated on a per-person basis.
• Accommodation, travel costs and any other unspecified expenses shall be borne directly and entirely by the delegate.

 

Cancellations & Substitutions

• Cancellations received before 31 May 2019 will be eligible to a refund of 100% of the congress fees, minus a 50 CHF administration charge.
• For cancellations occurring on or after 1 June 2019, no refunds can be made.
• These conditions apply irrespective of the reasons for cancellation (including illness or accident).
• Delegates who cannot attend have the right to appoint a substitute attendee. If notification of the change is received before 31 May 2019, no additional fees will be charged. If the notification arrives on or after 1 June 2019, an administration fee of 50 CHF will apply.
• All cancellations and changes must be made directly through Bucher Events on booking@buchertravel.ch
• Please note that the above provisions apply only to the refund of congress fees. Terms and conditions for hotel bookings may vary.

 

Programme

• The organisers reserve the right to modify the content of the programme, the speakers and the times of presentations.
• If the number of participants is insufficient, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the congress and all related products and/or services without any liability on their part.
• Should the congress be cancelled (for reasons other than force majeure), delegates may apply for a refund of the amount already paid to the congress organisers within 30 days of the cancellation announcement. Paid fees will be refunded in full.

 

Force majeure

• If political or economic incidents, pandemia or force majeure in general prevent the congress from taking place or impede it, delegates are not entitled to claim damages from the event organisers.

 

Insurance & Liability

• Insurance is the responsibility of the delegate. Each delegate is liable for all injury to persons or damage to property he or she causes.
• The organisers will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the congress.

 

 

Photographs & Image Material

• The organisers may, free of charge and without further consent, use and release audiovisual and/or photographic material taken of delegates during the congress (e.g. for the website).
• Delegates can revoke this agreement via email to lucernaiuris@unilu.ch.

 

Data Use Agreement

• The personal data of delegates will be used solely for organisational purposes and treated confidentially.
• A list of delegate names and email addresses may be provided to congress sponsors. No data will be passed on to any other third parties.

 

Disputes

• All agreements between the organisers and the delegate, and all disputes which may arise between the organisers and the delegate, shall be exclusively subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Lucerne, Switzerland.
